Look for a Pocket or Lined Cup

Swim tops with built-in pockets are the easiest to work with — just slide the pad in and it stays put. If your favorite suit doesn't have pockets, a snug, fully-lined cup is the next best option.

Triangle and Bandeau Tops

These styles benefit the most from added structure, since they typically have the least built-in support. Silicone pads fill them out beautifully and give shape that these styles otherwise lack.

Avoid Very Loose or Sheer Fabrics

Extremely thin or loose-fitting swim fabric can shift the pads out of place during activity. A slightly more fitted top will keep everything secure whether you're lounging or diving in.
